    billex,
I would stick with the hickory, gives a nice taste. Mesq is a bit strong. JD may work too.[p]A quick marinade? I suggest buying soem Dale's Steak Sauce, in the bbq section of your local store. Another quick sure thing is italian dressing. Good luck.

billex,[p]I like to use a combo of hickory and mesquite. Ads wardster said mesquite by itself is pretty strong but mixed with the hickory you get a nice flavor. I use a little oil, some garlic, soy sauce and terryaki sauce on my tenderloins. Have a great cook tomorrow.[p]Chuck <><[p]Chuck

    billex,
I echo Chuck's marinade. Soy sauce, with garlic and onion.
