Are you planning an Eggceptional Easter meal?

Just wondering what folks are planning for Easter or whatever holiday you may be celebrating. I am doing a 6lb standing rib roast because we had an eggstra one left over from Christmas. We normally do lamby lamb at Easter but the wife says I have to stay on a Egg-budget.

Please share what you are plannin to do.

Yea,I blew my egg budget last week when I bought my XL egg.I will probably be cooking hotdogs for Easter. :laugh:

I am planning on trying out Mr. Toad's OMG ham, and a pork tenderloin. I will be posting pics tomorrow. I am looking forward to egglicious meal.

Prime Filet Mignon, campfire potatoes, grilled zucchini and salad are on the menu after church as it's our first Easter with the EGG!

It's 9am on Easter Sunday downunder and this afternoon I'm going to egg a leg of ham (at around 250 to 300)with some pecan smoke and a pineapple/ginger/rum glaze.

The jury's still out on the sauce - either Dijon mustard/white wine or cranberry/orange juice. The ham will be served with baked vegies (potato, sweet potato, pumpkin) and fresh peas.

Any ideas for other vegies/sauces would be appreciated.

Hi Chris,

I've got abotu 15 lbs of pork butt smoking away at the moment, and also have to nice tenderloin and ribeye cuts from HEB which I think I'll kebab tomorrow as well.
