first things first make sure you keep your egg under 450 for the first 8-10 cooks to give your gasket a little "CURE" time
also Make sure to read all of this it will deffinatly help you out

Congrats, I know you will love it. If you are not careful though you'll have a fridge full of leftover cooked meat. I cooked so much my daughter said she was thinking of becoming a vegeterian.
Just pay attn. to everything people write on this forum and you'll be ok. Don't be afraid to try new and different things.

Nothing.I just really like to cook.Now I have an X/L,medium and small egg.I do love them all .We are not supposed to pick favorites though :laugh: :woohoo:

Congratulations, and welcome to the EggNation! Be sure to read up on the forum for tips and answers, and of course check out the fine sites from The Naked Whiz, WessB, and Thirdeye. All were instrumental in my decision to go with the BGE last fall, and I've been really pleased with the performance and the results of the two cookers (LBGE/SBGE) I've acquired since then.

if you think three are a lot, some eggers have more. stick around and you may find yourself owning more than one also. i guess that it's kind of like a lays potato chip.
