As I opened the blinds to the patio and saw the egg sitting there, it dawned on me...it's my egg's birthday! My wife looked at me as I went outside and sang it "Happy Birthday" this morning! For a special treat, I'm going to give it a fresh load of lump, bring it up to 750+* and throw on a nice 1 3/4" thick rib-eye! Yes, it's looking like a good night for steaks. And...there's a small rack of baby-backs for dinner tomorrow!

I like a man who remembers the really important events in life. With all that good Koonass food in New Orleans, I suppose a thick slice of dead cow every now and then to celebrate a special event is okay. Enjoy, and happy birthday to your Egg.
