Best way to egg a Tuna Steak?

Have two half-pound tuna steaks which are about 1.5 inches thick. What's the best way to egg these? I've marinated them in lime/ginger/soy/honey.[p]Thanks

    Hot and fast. You over cook and they are tough. Hope you like medium-rare tuna, that is the best way to serve.[p]Mike

    This may appear twice, but:

    Sesame oil, sesame seeds, black pepper, and Tsunami Spin if you have any.

    600-650 90 seconds per side.

    That's it.

    Mike is correct. FAST.... I do mine at about 500 for 2 min per side. Don't marinade for more that 30 min. I find they get tough if you use acid (Lime) in the marinade.

    400 would be your dome temp, so closer to fire will be hotter. We are talking maybe 90 seconds per side. You can always rest and put back on. I haven't had one for so long. Good luck and let us know.[p]Mike
