EggFest being considered in Delaware

We have a very pleasant Egg dealer who works at our local Amish country market in Central Delaware. He's said he'd love to have a Fest and if anyone has pointers or could give indication they'd show up to cook, we could pass that on to him. It isn't too soon to begin planning for good weather times.[p]We have a large parking lot and side "yard" available, a fabulous butcher market, not to mention poultry, rabbit and produce on premises and we're a couple of hours from Washington, PA, NY and very close to Maryland. [p]I plan to give him some feedback on what and how many so he might be planning to order in large Eggs and such and figure the cost and so. [p]If this is appealing, you might want to email me with comments or anything.[p]

dover_gal,[p]Now that sounds like a great spot. How about the hotel situation?
-
Sundwon,
We didn't have a hotel until this year; now, Middletown has a Hampton Inn which is about a mile from the site. Very convenient. There is an old-fashioned 50's style motel for the more adventurous, several B&B's nearby and a few more hotels (if things were to get out of hand) in Smyrna--a new Best Western, and plenty in Dover and Bear.

dover_gal,
Hey that would be one I would attend. My brother-in-law lives in Deleware and I've been trying to get him to move away from the gasser. I'm sure he would come too.

dover_gal,[p]I would also like to attend a Delaware fest, and would do so unless I had a schedule conflict.[p]Set 'er up!

Cornfed,[p]Oh yeah, my bro from MD would also likely be in.

dover_gal,
I'm definitely in. I'm sure an eggin' buddy at my work would be interested. I've got some neighbors and others at work who, although they aren't egg owners, would probably be interested in attending because of my non-stop promotion of the egg.[p]Chris

BTW, I'm in Townsend, DE, right outside of Odessa, just a couple of miles from the possible location.

dover_gal,
We would come from Annapolis, for sure.[p]mike

dover_gal,[p]My sister and her fanily live in Milford, DE. They would probably come as she just visited me in Atlanta and loved the BGE. She wants to get one for her son.[p]Also my daughter lives in Gettysburg, PA and would drive a few hours for the BGE eggsperience...[p]Kim Youngblood
