Poll Question - Spatchcock or Beer Can Chicken

Good evening to all. A friend gave me a "Farm Fresh" (never frozen) 8 pound chicken today. It's ready for the grill. My question is: should I go with the spatchcock method or the beer can method or do you have other ideas. I want to do this right so any suggestions would be appreciated.[p]Thanks for the help.

SmokeStack,Both would be good. Why don't you try a spatchcock if you never have before? It's cool. 8# is a big bird and it will be easier to handle laying on the grill. Moisture is not a problem on the egg, so you don't need the beer can. Have fun, Scott

so it cooks somewhat slow and stays really
