Are eggs on the Egg possible? Whats the best and easiest way to do it? I have a live news remote on our local morning news to endorse our charity cook off, and we want to offer breakfast to whoever stops by that morning with canned goods for our local pantries.
So help me out fellow Eggheads. I want to show how truly amazing the BGE can be.

    fishlessman,
That sounds amazing! I need to know time and temp too though. I am scared to death I will serve food that does not do the Egg proud. To much pressure for a Zen Egger! LOL

Zen Egger,[p]Chubby and his Chick did these at last year's Florida Eggfest. They are fantastic and are a beautiful presentation. Here's the recipe...[p]Baked Eggs and Mushrooms in Ham Crisps
    by Ann Tabor (Chubby’s Chick)
    Ingredients :
1 lb. Cremini (Baby Bella) Mushrooms (finely chopped)
    1 cup Shallots (finely chopped)
    2 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
    2 Tbls. unsalted Butter
    2 Tbls. Olive Oil
    2 Tbls. Sour Cream
1 Tbls. Tarragon or Parsley (finely chopped)
12 slices Black Forest Ham (without holes)
12 large Eggs (don’t use extra large or jumbo)
    Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation :[p]Preheat egg to 375° dome temperature for direct cooking.
Fit 1 slice of ham in each of the 12 lightly oiled muffin cups (ends will stick up and fold over the edges). Sauté mushrooms, garlic and shallots in oil & butter until mushrooms have rendered off most of their liquid (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and tarragon (or parsley). Salt and pepper to taste.[p]Evenly divide mushroom mixture into the ham cups and crack one egg into each one. Garnish with tarragon or parsley and bake (about 10 minutes) until whites are set and yolks are runny (if desired). Remove ham crisps from muffin cups with 2 spoons or small spatulas.[p]Enjoy,
    Tonia

    Zen Egger,[p]Here’s one I like! [p]Dutch Oven Breakfast in Egg[p]1 lb.bacon
    2 med yellow onions
1 ½ cups fresh mushroom sliced
    1 green bell pepper, diced
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    10 – 12 medium potatoes, sliced
    12 eggs, beaten
    Salt and pepper to taste
    3 cups grated cheddar cheese
Picante sauce[p]Heat a Dutch oven in the egg until hot (350 to 400 degrees). Cut bacon into 1 inch slices. Add to Dutch oven and fry until brown. Add onion, mushrooms, bell pepper and sauté until onions are translucent. Add potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Leave Dutch oven cover off and close dome. Cook for 30 minutes. Check every 10 min so you don't overcook. Season eggs with salt and pepper then pour eggs over top of potatoes. Close dome and cook for another 20 minutes. Stir gently every 5 minutes. When eggs are done, remove from egg and cover top with cheese and cover with Dutch oven lid. Let stand until cheese is melted.
    Serve topped with picante sauce.
    Serves: 10-12[p]Bon Appétit![p]

    Zen Egger,
Celtic wolf did a breakfast casserole and the Camp Lejeune Operation BBQ last spring. I have a ham and egg recipe (so to speak) on my website. I just did a nice spinach, egg, canadian bacon, tomato thing for the wife (yes, the wife who......) last night. So the possibilities are endless, or least there are 3, lol.[p]TNW

    Zen Egger,
No worries. If Chubby can cook them then you will be just fine. Of course if Chubby's Chick is the one driving, then you might have a challenge.[p]Serioulsy though, follow the recipe below, get your prep done the day before and you'll be just fine.
