  • Juliem4444,
I think the biggest you can do is 20 lbs, but you have to make sure that the Dome temp probe doesn't touch the turkey.[p]Have fun!

Juliem4444,[p]I egged a 23 pounder last Christmas. It was a very snug fit.
  • Juliem4444,[p]Starting to be turkey season. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!![p][p] Turkey, Whole, BGE Size

1 The Small EGG will hold a 12 lb turkey.
2 The Medium EGG will hold a 18 lb turkey.
3 The Large BGE will hold a 20 lb turkey.
4 The XL BGE will hold 2 - 20 lb turkeys.

Juliem4444,[p]As 'ab ovo' states, 22 - 23 pounder will fit the large.[p]Enjoy your cook and meal,

  • Juliem4444,
Thanks to you all :) Julie

  • Juliem4444,
i've done a 24 pounder. .. trick is to try out your set-up and make sure it works before you fire up the egg. .. .this may sound silly, but use a basketball, and see if everything fits properly. .. [p]DSCN0627.jpg
