Hey Folks,[p]I am thinkin of doing a big old 6.75 lb beef roast tonight or tomorrow. Anyone got a quick per pound rule of thumb for cookin times on this. I'd like to go to around medium.[p]Thanx,

  • Jethro,
I usually judge the time, between 20 - 30 minutes per pound depending on the cut of roast eg: if it is eye of the round roast I cut the time down a bit because of shape of roast. But I do always count on my meat thermometer.
    Hopes this helps you out.
