Rumaki

Not everyone like livers but I been holding on to this recipe here for the chicken livers for years now and in honor of the originator (Woodoggies) I fixed these on the small BGE and they turned out awesome to say the least. Don’t know how they got such a weird name but they definitely work for me (he calls em Rumaki – whatever that means?). I love chicken livers and have em every once in a while at the meat and three that really knows how to fry em real good and danged if I don’t think these babies beat the fried by a long shot.[p][p][p]

Greendriver,[p]If you do not like poultry livers, scallops are a great substitute. Kikkoman basting sauce is EGGcelent on this appeteaser.

Dang Chet, those look great![p]I wish I had come up with that recipe. When I was a kid, my mom used to make those for parties and I plain hated them..... tried them again in my teens and thought they were the best things ever to come off the grill.... full of nature's goodness![p]Glad you liked them... it would make my momma proud. :~)[p]john
