    Rick's Tropical Delight,
WOW! That looks great! I've been showing my wife some of the posts that folks have with their pizzas. She is starting to want me to make at them at home. I'll have to find a place for dough..not something I can put so much time into right now. Yours always look great. Something to aspire to.

    chainsmoker,
I was totally surprised the change the new surface made. Almost 100 laps without a yellow. Unheard of in the past. I have served as Deputy Director of Security for the Kansas Speedway and some day I hope to get to Bristol.

I don't think I'll ever go back. It will probably turn into a fuel milage race soon.

  • chainsmoker,
what? you crazy?[p]did you go to the busch race?[p]that new concrete will change over time and the bottom groove will be back. they need to mess with the tire compounds. there were absolutely no marbles anywhere on the track.[p]anyway... that there pizza sure was good. [p]

    Letts-Do-It,
Best racing ever, its just not the new surface either. There was plenty of bumping, but with the verticle nose on the COT they dont spin the guy in front out when they "ask" him to move over. Think you'll see less wrecks with the new car. Saw on a race site that there were around 4 times as many passes on the track than in the spring race, somewhere around 2100 total passes. I'd rather see 100 green flag laps than 100 caution laps any day. Can't wait for the spring race now.
