Scooter McGoo,[p]Worth the investment.
Never have to replace an enamel grill again. and it conducts heat in a very efficient manner.[p]Bite the bullet and buy it, you won't regret it.
-
I'd also consider a stainless grate from tjv. I love mine.
-
Sundown,
I used mine for the first time last night. I cooked some awesome steaks. I would highly recommend it.
-
Scooter McGoo,[p]I use mine ALL the time. Works great when grilling shrimp for appetizers etc. Hamburgers , steaks ... really get a lot of use out of it. [p]

Scooter McGoo,[p]I wouldn't do without it. I use it for everything but chicken. It holds heat better, less stuff falls through, and the searing is great.[p]Worth the $$$ in my opinion.
-
Fidel,
I'm about to get one and was just curious as to why you don't use it for chicken?
-
Crawdaddy,[p]The cast iron tends to hold a little too much heat. With whole or spatchcock birds I have no problem, but doing b/s breasts they tend to burn on the grid lines. I just use the OEM grid for chicken parts.

Thillin,[p]agreed, i just got min from Tom and used it twice so far, awsome, i hated to use it at first cause it looked so nice :-)
