Pork Chops, Shrimp and corn
Marinated three 2 inch boneless pork chops in Bronco Bob's Mango Chipolte sauce. Seared them for about 90 seconds a side, dropped the temp down and added corn on the cob and marinated shrimp kabobs. I used wine barrel chips for the first time and a cedar plank on one shrimp kabob. Don't think I'll do cedar again, my wife said the taste and smell reminded her of her grandmother's house, (and NOT the Kitchen) but more like her cedar chest!![p][p][p]Everything was pretty good except the cedar planked shrimp. Did I do something wrong? Are there any other planks besides cedar? [p]Thanks,[p]Steve
