I got back from Europe last week. I wish I could have stayed longer, but it's nice to be able to get good barbecue again![p]I have a gig at a DC area barbecue joint this weekend: Half Moon Bar-B-Que, in Silver Spring, MD. The address is 8235 Georgia Avenue. This is with my acoustic trio, The Resonators, opening for Eleanor Ellis & The Bad Dogs. I hope to see some of my DC area Egg friends there![p]-Steve

    Nature Boy,[p]Sounds good. My brothers and I actually visited Capitol Q while in DC a few weeks ago. I'd love to make the trip down this weekend but will be at a Jets game (preseason, yes, but I've already been forced to pay $110 for the tix plus it is an excuse to tailgate...).[p]Anyway, let's all get together later this August...perhaps the weekend of the 25th...[p]Have fun,

    Nature Boy,[p]We're there this Saturday, August 11. I think we start around nine, and play one set (about an hour). The band we're opening for plays a great mix of blues rock and roots music. I'm sure you'll like them.

    flajoker, aks: Would you and your band be coming down to eggfest in Atlanta to play?[p] I never thought about trying for that gig. One Thin Dime has played the DC area Eggfests because they're close to home. If we got paid well and got accomodation, I'm sure the guys I play with would consider it.
