Plate setters
Options
Is a plate setter a good EggCessory?? Do they make a big difference in the cooking and baking of Butts, Pizza, or turkeys which is what we do most??? Does a pizza stone not have the same "indirect" effect?? Should we buy???[p]Thanks for the help...

mjr,[p] The plate setter is an eggcellent eggcessory. It is the best barrier for low and slow cooks. Even give the pizza stone that much more mass for even better pizzas Save that pizza stone for pizza and breads. [p] Yes you should buy it.[p]

The plate setter is the only way to fly for low and slow. It provides a flame heat barrier and provides a place to sit you drip pan. I use mine all of the time.[p]Poorboy
