I have an 18oz. rock cornish hen, how should this be cooked????? I've never cooked one of these but wanted to try something different in the egg. Maybe I should finally fire up the mini as it has not been used yet. A great weekend to ya all.
Thanks,
New Bob

New Bob,[p]Cornish hen is ideal for the mini. In addition to JJ's delicious recipe, you can butterfly the little bird and cook directly on the grill for 30-45 minutes @ 325°F. Cook skin side down and flip when the skin is cooked to your liking (usually about 1/2 way through the cook). This makes a nice presentation.[p]You can stuff just about anything (herbs, oils, rubs, pastes, sauces, minced vegetables, mushrooms, even fruits) under the skin for a different treat.[p]Good eats. Enjoy.

    New Bob,
I like to do them direct at about 275F on the large. It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I don't know how fast they'll go on the mini. Rub them with a little olive or peanut oil and salt and pepper or your favorite rub.
