Shrimp - Wok shell on?

Going to wok some shrimp on the egg tonight ... shell on or off?[p]The shell has been slit on the back and they appear to be de-veined ... so, cook shell on or off?[p]Any advice appreciated.

    I think you get a lot more flavor from cooking with the shell on. On the other hand, If you do peel them first, save the shells in a ziplock in the freezer. When you get enough, about 2 cups, simmer them in chicken broth for an amazingly good tasting seafood soup base. -RP
