Anyone have a good hamburger recipe? I made them last night and sadly, followed the directions on the BGE DVD. They were less than spectacular.

Jeff,
I sometimes put a nice chunk of gorgonzola cheese in the middle of the patties.

Jeff,
Hey..You have got to try these from Bobby Flay. I'll promise you that these are THE best burger you can eat. I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten when I cook these. http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipe. If this doesn't get you there, go to the foodnetwork and search for Cuban Hamburgers and click on the Bobby Flay recipe.
Hope this helps.

Jeff,[p]Make sure that you don't use lean ground beef. There isn't enough fat in the burgers to keep them moist...[p]What I do is take my lean hamburger meat and grind up some bacon and add it to the burger mix. Or even better gind up a brisket.[p]I like to cook my burger a little different way. I sear them and then I cook them indirect till done. I add the cheese the last couple of mins just to melt.

Jeff,
I cook them direct around 450 grate. I use 80 - 85% lean with a good dusting of Dizzy Pigs cowlick on both sides. Add nice slice of onion (Vidalia if you have), a little Sweat Baby Rays sauce and some good Cheddar Cheese toast, your bun and get ready for some good eats.
Everyday is Saturday and tomorrow is always Sunday. -
Thanks for the tips! I'll give them a try
