Kroger has boneless ribeye roasts on sale for $4.99/lb. In his book, it tells you to cook at 275 for 3 hours on an 8 lb roast. Any other hints or suggestions?

MemphisEgg,
Instead of going by time, stick a meat thermometer in it. If cooking at 275, if you like med/rare pull the roast off the grill at 127-132, med 132-137, med/well 137-142 well 142+[p]Times vary, temps do not.[p]Good luck!!

MemphisEgg,
I hope that standing rib is USDA Choice. If it is select you might be disappointed with the finished product. Good luck, Tom

egghead2004,[p] I might pull it 5-10 degs lower, because they will cook some more when taken off the heat.[p]It's done when it's done and not a moment sooner..
