Grilled Mahi

A friend of mine gave me a nice chunk of Mahi fillet and I wanted to grill it on the egg. The only things I've egged before are ribs, butts, and chickens. Any general suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    In the FWIW department ...
I egged two batches of fresh Mahi this past week. :-)
Planked on cedar with homemade Cajun rub and Old Bay mix.
Direct grilled (oil the grill!) with lemon pepper.
I much preferred the kickass plank version, but the other was a hit with the "older" crowd. :-)[p]As for temps ... I THINK (I should take notes.) I kept the egg around 300 for both.
That's all for now. Good luck.

I'd go with a teraki marinade, if I spelled it right. Adds a nice suttle flavor to that wonderful fish.[p]Grill till it's just about to flake all the way through and pull it off. Does not take long at all.
