Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? You’ll have to cook both to find out.

:Lady in the Shoe,[p]Here's a link to the Dizzy Pig version of Ron's hot wing recipe.... I just substituted legs which also work great with this recipe.
The only real difference between Ron's original recipe and DP's recipe is the length of the cook. The added time allows the skin to render it's fat which really crisps up the skin nicely. The added time also makes the meat melt-in-your-mouth quality... something I prefer in wings, thighs and legs.
The legs in my photo were finished off with Blues Hog but Crystals hot sauce works really well or no sauce at all is very good, too. [p]This is a fantastic recipe and it's the wings folks ask me to make most. Remember to use a raised grid and let us know how they turn out.... good luck![p]john
