Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

<p />I built a table for my large egg, it arrived at the dealer on Monday afternoon. Hope to get a chance to go pick it up soon.

    Rich DTLC,
I like it. Especially the 4x4's for legs. Large enough to mount the casters.

  • Thanks for the compliments. I used 3 inch caster, but still had to add the 2x4 brace at the bottom. I was shooting for a 30 inch wide top, but ended up around 29 1/2. Thinking the next I'll use 1x6 cedar.

    Rich DTLC,
Nice work. What are you going to seal it with?
