Well after years with the beloved egg I am trying pulled pork again at the urging of my buddies at work... 2 8 lb. butts on at 225... Guru hummin away... figure they should be done sometime tomorrow... I'll let you know how they turn up but from the looks and smells of things they should be EGGSellent!

  • Had you not been doing pulled pork due past problems, or is it something that you just tired of?

As I mentioned in another thread, I bought a BGE today, and I'm just curious.

    Good Eats,
I got a 7.5 lb butt on the Egg myself... following Dr. BBQ's recipe for rub, mop, and sauce. So far been holding temperature steady at 240 for 8 hours 20 minutes. Temperature of butt is 159 degrees. Gonna pull at 190 and wrap it in foil... Looks EGG_FANTASTIC!![p]Happy Egging, Pharmeggist
