AZRP,[p]I'm not trying to hijack your post, and I think Rick Bayless is one of my favorite chef's and his recipe looks very good....But some visuals and a few tips are in order when making tamales for the first time. After that they get easier and easier to make and you can't wait until the next time you do it. Kind of reminds me of this chi.... Oh, you get the picture.[p]~thirdeye~[p]

AZRP,[p]You are right. I need to link that page to my tamale page for additional reference. I see they used the Maseca brand of masa mix. When I can't get the fresh that is my favorite. It is slightly coarser than masa harina.[p]~thirdeye~
