A Short Story With A Good Ending
Spring Chicken
Posts: 10,255
It was time for lunch so I looked in the refrigerator and a little voice said "Take me!" I then heard another little voice that said "Take me!" And another and another. So took each to the counter to see what was saying "Take me!" with such enthusiasm. Lo and behold, it was bacon and cream cheese and little smokey sausages and jalapenos. So I did what should be done in a situation like this... I made ABT's. And they were good. The End.[p]Now I await my Pulitzer Prize for Shortest Short Story. With A Wonderful Plot, Beautiful Characters and such a Happy Ending I can't miss. [p]Spring "It's All About ABT's" Chicken, PPW (Pullet Prize Winner)

Rick's Tropical Delight,
I also like to freeze the Little Smoky's because they don't need cooking. Their coldness tends to keep the cream cheese from heating up too quickly while the bacon cooks. I also prefer thin sliced bacon so as not to over power the flavors.[p]Also, I normally put two to three toothpicks in the ABT so that when done I can slice between each toothpick and serve as bite-size pieces instead of turd-size pieces. That tends to keep cream cheese from squirting out onto the floor and also makes them go a bit further. [p]Yep! there are as many was to make an ABT as there are ABT makers. All are wonderful.[p]Spring "Governing Board Member Of The Spring Texas Chapter of ABT Makers Guild" Chicken
