It's the movie about Sherrif Buford Pusser.

This is no lie, but his cousin, also a Pusser, operated a rough and tumble tavern in a small town near us and he acted as his own bouncer. He has the well earned reputation of being a tough sum-b*tch!

I've actually never watched any of the movies, but I actually lived and worked in Selmer (withing McNairy county) before I moved back north.  It was...ugh...not what I was used to.

I caught part of it.  Watched all three many times when I was younger.  Good ole wholesome television.  My how times have changed.

Agreed.  I enjoy watching the old stuff more than the new.  Caught the scene where Buford whooped the prisoner and another guy who bashed his Impala, great scene.

Watched Walker Tx Ranger with Hulk Hogan in it the other day, great episode.
