bbqdiva,
I saw your web page pretty neat.[p]HAve you posted before? If you have I hadn't noticed, sorry.[p]Welcome to our world.

Rick's Tropical Delight,[p]The Egg really make cooking a delight. After 5 months, I'm doing things I never tried before, and working hard to get other things just right. (still haven't made a really good brisket, but still way better than anything I'd previously done.)[p]Let me guess. You did lots of 'Q and griling defore. The Egg make it seem that before you might as well have been cooking over a trash fire. That was my response. As my wife said, "Well, yes, about half of the food was burnt." comparing Egged food to what I'd done earlier.[p]Ahh, the joy of a good tool[p]

bbqdiva,
just curious how do you use that hand spade stuck in your table there? It appears to be too big to clean ashes from the top let alone from the vent opening.

Heya RRP,[p]I use the spade to clear ashes from the vent area below the grate as well as remove any spent lump from the the pit. It fits easily in the vent door, maybe the picture makes it appear larger than it really is, LOL![p]I also find it handy to smack my kids with with they get out of control :P Just kidding...of course :-)[p]Regards,[p]bbqdiva
