SCOTT'S STEAK ES EL SUPREMO

Tried "Scott's Infamous Mustard Rubbed Steak" last night, and it was the first time I used yellow mustard on anything besides a hot dog or pastrami. Had two Rib-eyes at 1.5" thick, and they were unbelievable!Unfortunately, had to share with the rest of the gang.
Probably could've added another minute to the recommended 3-3-4, on each phase, as I had to pop 'em back on for another minute or two. A couple hunks of mesquite didn't hurt either. Recipe's on this site.
Highly recommended, but then again, most of you all know about this kind of Nirvana already, eh? Happy Sunday all!!!

Big Murth, yup...Scott dumped on us with that mustard routine, and he dug it out of some other recipe file somewhere. Dusted it off, improved on it a bit, and we all benefitted. I use it every once in a while for a return to the wild side. It might have been a offshoot from mustard slathered ribs. Scott from Florida was a great steak cook and then married and moved to other locals..St. Louis last I heard.
I betcha he has a string of steaks behind him since then.
