I've only had my Egg just over a week and now that the weather has finally quit monsooning I'm gonna get going. In the mean time I started getting all sorts of recipes. My question is: How are you all keeping track of them? I guess I could bookmark all of them but that seems a bit unwieldy. I also suppose I could use a database of some type, like Access, but that is too complicated for this.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm getting a ton of them, beside all the ones for my new Kitchen Aid mixer!!! :P

See if you can find a text editor, or word processor that will do multi-document searches. I use one called BBedt, but it is at this point Macintosh only. While I have put together a cookbook categorizing many of the recipes I've collected, many more are just tossed in a directory called "cooking." Then I just use the program to do a multi-document find for any given term, like "lamb shank" and it will find all the occurences.
I considered putting a database together, but it was a little more work than I've wanted to do.

How?

I use Living Cookbook. I think it's a great progam. I used to use Master Cookbook but I like this better. TNW has a link on his site and a code to save you $3.

i e-mail it to the g-mail account where i have several folders. eg. baking, BGE, desserts....
then i file them into each appropriate one and able to do a search
if you don't have g-mail, i'd be glad to invite you - let me know -
I've got one, I just never thought of using it that way.
Thanks
