OT: Let's See Your New Father's Day Toys

Bad ties, fishing poles, new grills, gift certificates to cut the grass. What did you end up with this Father's Day?

My 3 year old went to the craft place to make me a card. Made a fish since we went on her first fishing trip a few weeks ago.

Not REALLY a Fathers Day gift next but my form 4 finally came back for my MAC10 last night so I got to swing in the gun store and pick it up today.   2 years wait time! Those poor Texas hogs.

Nice! Is that a Ti-Rant on there?

  • @Battleborn Yeah I had to steal the piston from my AAC Evolution 45 can. Thing has a weird thread pattern. But my Evo isn't rated full auto.

@DMW can't tell if the kid is excited or scared because he can fit in that beast.  Congrats!

@JohnInCarolina if you get a pair of binoculars for Christmas you'll never have to get up to check some temps again.

@TN_Sister_State if you're gonna pick up another 9 I would do it via canoe.

Best day to do that, little chance you'll hear "you bought WHAT?!" or get a shoe thrown at you today.

Damn, why 2 years? 2 F4's? Is that a Lage upper? I just submitted a F4 memorial weekend for an Obsidian. I am expecting no less than a year.
I ask that as I fire up the LG for filets of the mignon variety and the med for crash hots.
Oh. I got a new MacBook Pro for combo fathers day and bday....

  • @dmw for the win.  @Sundazes yes to both. It's a Lage and greatly improves its rate of fire and controllability. And yes 2 form 4s. Out of state buddy to the dealer and dealer to me. With a paperwork screw up. But the last form 4 took 11 months. Got it in the Friday before 41F.

+1 on @DMW for the win!  Well done, sounds like a Morgantown butt blast or brisket camp may be in our future with a new yard, pergola and an XXL added to the arsenal????  Would be great for those of us in PA....

    seriously, well done!

We are seeing a 11-12 month turnaround on stamps right now. We had customers get approved in March and just got their stamps a week ago. We had already recieved certified copies on some and a packet with 35 stamps showed up.

    @DMW I think you win.

Agree. And since I'm being agreeable with @caliking, I have to publicly thank him for getting my wife (without my knowledge) in contact with a guy who makes custom leather knife rolls.
caliqueen reminded me that @20stone was instrumental in me becoming the proud owner of a custom knife roll (he gave her the deets about the roll guy to begin with) ... Which is how you then became the proud owner of one.

You're going to enjoy it. I love mine. And the wife who gave it to me :)

One of the wives brought in pizza for lunch, another root beer floats, then all hell broke loose.  Always fun when you are assisting an ED doc at the bedside and he says, "Interesting, I've never seen anything like this before." Lol

Got to tell my son during a break that we saved a life today.  Lots of good jobs all around at the shop today, we rocked it, so proud of our team.  A great Focker's Day  :)

We need to work on English a little, but I love it. :)
