I've been a Leatherman owner for 20+ years. I've owned a Super Tool, a Super Tool 200 and a Wave. I've passed the Wave on to my ole man and the Super Tools are in the shop getting new small flatheads (they always twist or break on those older models). Thinking about getting a new EDC. Probably another Leatherman. Any recommendations for a good EDC between the Super Tool 300 and the Surge? I'm a little skeptical of the semi-flat philips bit on the Surge.

I've had a really cool small one on my car key ring for at least 12 years. To date I have only used it once and that was the scissor feature once. Otherwise I have only opened up all the tools twice. Once to see them to please my neice who gave it to me and the other time when I was bored out of my mind waiting for a person to arrive on an overdue flight.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

I backpack and camp frequently. I keep the wave in all my backpacks. I have another I keep in my work gear. Super handy tool. I use it all the time. It has been able to do all that I have needed, when needed. In some of the situations I have had to use it, it paid for itself a thousand times over."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

I'm not too familiar with the Leatherman models but I've had my eye on the Sog Duo. Still small enough for your pocket and gives you some basic tools along with it

The Charge TTi looks real nice. I had never even heard of that model until now.

I have several, and am a guy who should carry one. I just don't care for the bulk. Instead I normally carry a single blade folder.
That sog looks pretty sweet.

heres one of those custum sak, pioneer 2223 custom made with added scissors, titanium scales, brass liners, belt clip added to back, im going to see if he can fit a phillips and a brass/glass magnifier in there. the scissors and the magnifier i use alot and i dislike the plastic one that swiss amy knife makes. also want the scales to be black with a silver nickel cross inlay

I use the OHT. Everything is accessible with 1 hand including the pliers which are also spring loaded a have cutting bits in them. Does not the usual 15+ tools in it though, but it works for me.
