Rib Eye for pot roast

Found two rib eyes about 1 1/2 thick.Browned them both in evoo and cooked 4 hours as a pot roast in a dutch oven. It is finger lickin good.Just in case if you have any left over rib eye give it a try.

Gosh I bought it on sale for 4.99 lb. did not want to wait untill it thawed out so I opted for the pot roast method.I guess it sounds like if you had left over 11/16 count shrimp and made scampi out of it. But it still tasted real good.Beers.

darnoc,[p]I like the pot roast method with some red wine, onions and mushrooms. BTW, what is wrong with scampi? I just brought home 50# of 10-15 count and some are going to be sauted with EVOO and garlic with a little white wine and lemon juice. I think that is scampi. Regardless, I like it. $3.75/lb down here -fresh from Bayou La Batre. You can boil em, you can fry em, you can BBQ them ........... LOL
