Those taquitos were excellent. Someone put one at my work station. I didn't know who made it.,
Yeah....better than the ones you get at the gas stations. ;)
I can't bring myself to eat something anything off of the twirler. I'd have to stop again in 10 mins...
Back when I lived in Georgia (over ten years ago now), I use to see them at the QT and wonder who in their right mind would ever eat those.

Who has slushies? Who has Titus? Who cares? I want these folks in my corner when it is time to get busy. This is my favorite BGE/Non BGE Event, strictly due to the people that participated, and those who fed us some of the best food I have ever tasted.

Who's the homely woman sitting in the front?
    She sure is short!

@tarheelmatt, that's some pretty good photoshop work.  I replied before the picture had loaded.  Hilarious!
As to the shirt, Nichole has run it through the wash on high heat with bleach a number of times and that shid on the front still won't come off.
Why did you think I had the bonfire???????
    Missed opportunity for sure!

I heard she stole someone's scalloped potatoes recipe and posted it as hers.

Once again, Jason's redneck Monte Cristos took the cake. The red sprinkles once again put it over the top.
Dylan, while his Krispy Kreme breakfast sammies are ridiculous, I'll miss most the Baltimore Pitt beef I won't get for another year.

That pit beef is off the chain. If all works well, you could have some at brisket camp in October. So chill out, snowflake.

I was very impressed with Regan, she started out calling all of the number on the tickets and after I only repeated the last two numbers she figured it out all on her own and started only calling the last two numbers. What a pleasure she was to have help with the raffle.
She's obviously fallen far from the paternal tree.

John is somewhat modest about his cooks.  Several he kept in reserve for us cookers. He dealt out some SV jerk wings Finished on Matt's large (with the miracle dome) that were spectacular.  The chocolate Pots de creme have taken on a life of there own.  As they should!  He, Gary and Matt know how to put on an event!
Thank you for the kind words brother!

Feeling a little bit depressed that there is no NCBB to go to this weekend.

Having said that, what a great time it was last weekend.  I said it a couple of times while I was there in I felt like I already knew so many of you so well from the forum that I felt like I had already met you all.  To no surprise to me, not only is this group great Eggers, but they are even more so great people.  My mind wandered for a bit while I was having a beer on Saturday and imagined for a short time what a cul-de-sac with all of us Eggers living on it would be like.  Every day would be a NCBB!  And I would love to have each and every one of you as my neighbors.

It was great to see everyone in action and their techniques.  I surely came away with some ideas and desire to up my Egging game.  Thanks for welcoming my Son and I into the fold and letting us be a part of this gathering.  Special thanks to those who put this together and all of the cooks and volunteers.  These people are literally busting their a$$’s the entire time putting out good food and providing for others.  It’s amazing to see it in action.  And it’s much appreciated and noticed.

‘Til we meet next time, and I hope it’s soon.

    Thanks again!  Steve

I would not be around long if this bunch lived in my neighborhood. Point well made though.
