I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Yeah that's the one. I still want some for my eggs, can't settle on a design though. @Dyal_SC's is pretty awesome.

That's him.  Thank-you Hub!  He has done four handles for me in the past and I know I have his card somewhere, but damned if I can find it.  Thanks again!

Deferred maintenance will sneak up and bite you if you defer too long.  I own one of Danny's pieces of art.  You are supposed to lightly sand it with 320 grit and then put a coat of spar varnish on it annually.  I have had my handle since September 2014 and have done no maintenance.  It's looking grungy.

I took it apart and noticed the finish got a little cooked.

Here's a tip of the cap to the artist with his maker's mark.

I don't have the varnish or the time to mess with it so a temporary fix is in order.  I used pallet wood.

I'll show the handle when I get it done.

I'm thinking about having something milled out of aluminum for the medium.

My handle got cooked due to direct heat from open dome searing.  If your medium's handle takes direct heat from time to time, an aluminum handle replacement might get pretty warm.
