Ok, quick weeknight meal. I seasoned some chicken breasts in DP Shaking the Tree and grilled raised direct at 400 degrees. They cooked about 20 minutes to reach an IT of 165. Tossed some Brussell sprouts in EVOO and S&P then roasted at 375 for about 25 minutes.
Now for the new part - I cooked fettuccini in a skillet. https://youtu.be/OP8uoOgyPlc
This actually works. Put a couple of servings in a skillet and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender; it took about 12-13 minutes. You do have to watch it a bit as the water reduces to keep it from sticking. I dumped the pasta in a colander while I made the sauce. Sauce was heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and S&P - cook until it thickens. Garnished with some parsley. It all cooked in 25 minutes and didn't suck. I'll deffinitely cook this way again.

For some reason your thread title made me think of @SGH

Thanks for the kind words. I'm now a fan of cooking pasta in a skillet. It probably isn't a great idea for a large amount of pasta, but for a couple of servings it works well.

@SciAggie a good combination with sprouts is a bit of chilli and bacon.  EVOO with chilli steeped in it would work well.  Not sure how to do the bacon bits - on the hob I do finely chopped bacon fried up till crispy with chilli and then toss in the sprouts.
