Hillbilly Willy,
Looks good can I have some? Is that a BGE stone on the raised grid? What temp and how long was the cook?
-
darnoc, the stone is a cheapie from the local kitchen gadget store. I don't have a good ceramic stone yet. The temp was aout 475° by the dome thermometer. The biscuits are easy to make and turn out well if not over mixed.[p]Bill

HillbillyWilly,
Thanks for the info. That blue table and the Green Egg looks like a good color combo.

Hillbilly Willy,
I grew up eat'n biscuits cooked in a wood stove and cast iron skillet. So I do the same thing today when I want good biscuits, but on the BGE. Here's what mine look like.[p][p]A good biscuit is the best complement to a meal there is.[p]Spring "Biscuit Lover" Chicken

darnoc, I built that temporary table for the egg until I have time to build in the egg, refrigerator and Patio II into a single cabinet. Bonnie commented on my color coordination, but teal blue was what I had handy. Looks OK to me and the cooking stains are easy to wipe off. [p]Bill

Spring Chicken, I couldn't agree more and the good ones don't come in cans or from the frozen food isle. Those look great. Got some butter and habanero jelly?
Bonnie and I also enjoy cast iron or black pot cooking. Goes well with the BGE cooker.[p]Bill
