We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? You’ll have to cook both to find out.

I'm slow cooking some spare ribs. My temp. got a little bit away from me. Is 270 degrees to hot to cook ribs???

  • Brandon,
Don't worry at all. Leave the ribs on and just start getting the temp back between 225-250. The only harm is they may get done a little earlier than expected.

  • Hasenpheffer, thanks so much for the advice. I closed the bottom vent all the way. I'll crack it open a bit when my temp. starts falling(probably hours)....:)

  • Brandon,
If your temp only got to 270 it really should not take that long to get it back down. You'll be proud once you bite into those ribs. :-)
