Cost of Brick/Stone Home for Med and Large Eggs

I'm doing some work on the house that includes an outdoor space and I want to have a spot built for my Med and Large Eggs. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just enough space for a work area and maybe a drawer or two plus the eggs. The contractor sort of threw out a number that seems a bit high but I don't really have a reference point. Has anyone done something similar recently and is willing to share a rough cost estimate? Thanks.

If you are going natural stone, the work is not hard. Just really time consuming of you are new to it or do not do it all the time. Trust me on the time consuming part. Other than that, Materials are not bad. Hsve a local quarry? If so, stone can be cheap.
