I did a couple of cooks this weekend. Saturday I did a turkey breast, and it turned out as well as any turkey I've done on the egg. Super simple, out of the packaging from Wegmans, seasoned with DP Mad Max, and on the egg at 325 until an IT of 160.

On Sunday, pulled beef. Pepper stout inspired, but only beef broth for the braise. There was a point where we were alcohol free, but then the work week drove us back to drink. Leftovers have been killer for lunch.

Mad max rocks!

Looks good. What Stout did you use during the braising? I've use "King Street" by Intuition and it really added some complexity to the overall flavor. I'm partial to a good Stout to begin with.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Great results. Way to attempt to drive this forum back on to some cook-related course.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Thanks all!
@jeremiah - I really like the Mad Max, it is great on all types of poultry, and it impressed my in-laws enough that they got their own bottle after they had it on some sheet pan chicken breasts. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
@nphuskerfl - I didn't have any stout to put in, so it was stout 'inspired' but I just used beef broth and a few good glugs of soy sauce, and a splash of fish sauce.LBGE
