Big Green Soft Pretzels
Used a modified bagel recipe I got from Alton Brown. I don't have a stand mixer so I had to hand kneed.
Let rise to double.
30 second bath in water and baking soda.
Brushed on egg yolk with water and salted. Added jalapeño and cheddar to a couple of them and baked in the egg at 450 on a pizza stone.
Here was my Super Bowl sampler platter!
This is was a fun cook. A few steps, but really pretty easy with a great result. It would be fun to planwith different flavor combinations. Thanks for looking.

My egg setup was placesetter legs up, grate, pizza stone. Baked these on oiled parchment at 450 degrees. Baked about 18 minutes. I think.

The only modification to the recipe I guess was hand kneeding for about 5 minutes, and the egg set-up as noted above.
