I do.  3k and use synthetic or blend at worst.  I'm not losing sleep, but the loss of mileage is mildly disturbing.  It's a car to me that has a truck bed.  When I want to tow regularly, I'll get something else.  I'm not a delicate flower behind the wheel, but I'm not hard on the truck either.

The Egg never disappoints.  Indirect and hot varying between 450 F and 550 F as required.  Once the chicken was done, it came out and was covered in foil.  Aubergine slices salted, rinsed and dried. Red pepper and aubergine slices coated in seasoned EVOO (good Italian) then onto the grill. Potato skins with cheese added for the last 10 minutes (the insides of the bakers were used for potato and carrot mash for the kids' tea).

For afters, some vanilla ice cream from Daisy Made with Caol Ila poured over.  Pretty good.

it doesn't have that classic Porsche sound and response.
You've got a water cooled Porsche and you're talking about classic Porsche sound??? That  sound died in 1998.

The H6 water cooled sound, IMO, is even better than the VW sound from the air cooled engines, although just saying this could incite a huge flame war if this were a different forum.

Sport mode sound on the water cooled H6 is spectacular.  Best used next to Mustangs at the light.

Similar to saying Porsch instead of Porsch-uh at a Cars and Coffee.

Drinkin and missing a childhood friend who truly tried to make a difference. I'm 45 and met him when i was 5. He was in the remedial classes and I was in the advanced. I found booze and the like, he found books and education. I do well by the grace of god, and thankfully, he did better.  He became a chiropractor and survived stage 4 bone marrow cancer for 7 years.  His goal after beating it was to cure cancer, wrote a book on it (https://goo.gl/4mtCM7) and healed hundreds, maybe even thousands.  He died on Sunday.  He couldn't beat it this time.  However, his research and his passion is chronicled on his facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/charles.majors.9?fref=ts) by not only himself, but his friends and family. My heart has been ripped out.  All he wanted to do, and dedicated his life to do, was to kill cancer, which killed him.  He and his 2 sons, which he has 4 kids (2 daughters) created a business selling healthy, friendly nuts (http://www.brothersnuts.com/).  It's getting hard to see the screen.  I'm not a fly by night poster here on the forum, and I never thought I would ever post anything like this here.  I know you are all good folks and I also know that you all could learn a lot from one of the best friends and most gentle souls I've ever had the pleasure to know, Dr. Charles Majors.

The DudeThis is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.

Walter SobchakNihilists! *uck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

Just got back from a great fund raiser:

Even violated my own rule and had a brown water cocktail on the road.  Many of the bacon creations were quite creative.  The bacon with buffalo ranch and  also paired with wasabi teriyaki was eggcellent as was a cherry wrapped in bacon dipped in chocolate (close to @henapple's famous MPD creation).  Bacon was the star and was in every appetizer.  (Did make some ABT's today for a tune-up.)  No worries, bacon for breakfast.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Just helped my buddy adjust the timing on his daughter's car.  (2005 MB C230 - crappiest engine, Kompressor 4-cyl, MB ever made).  The timing jumped on the intake cam.  The cam gear wore down for some reason on the intake camshaft.  Bent all the intake valves.  Pulled off the head, replaced valves (I welded a tool made from a c-clamp to install the valve retainers, etc, bla bla bla)  Anyway, I don't know why I bother to post here other than it's cathartic.  He's in reassembly mode.  He put it together a link off (timing chain off).  I pointed this out to him, he fixed and is putting together at 4AM in front of his house across the street with an impending storm rolling in.

Don't meant to toot my own horn, but I'm f*cking good with mechanical stuff.  Also pretty hammered.  God bless.
    Car is running!
