Started out cubing some sweet potatoes and seasoning with S&P and some Pineapple Head and roasting indirect on the large for 45 mins.  Just realized I gotz no pic of that part.  Pulled them for later in the cook.

Egg has been running stable @425 and I throw the carbon steel on to brown up the sausage.  Just getting started

Next up was the cabbage, green opinions and garlic.  Once it got happy the sausage and sweet potatoes go back in

Plated up with some Black Eyed Peas cooked with shallots and bacon.

Happy New Years Folks!!

I don't know if you'll be rich, lucky, or better looking - but you'll be well fed. That looks delicious. Happy new year my friend.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"
