CyberQ alarm question.

I'm going to do a 17lb packer brisket on the XL, and a point for burnt ends on the MM tonight.

My my question is whether the CyberQ, when linked to my IPad via wifi, will alarm and wake me up if I hit a target temp. I know the CyberQ unit itself alarms, but I don't know and can't find any info on whether or not it will alarm on my iPad to wake me.

Ive used the CyberQ, but never paired.

Not with the direct link to the Cyber Q. There is a app you can download called The Pit Pal that connects to the Cyber Q and will allow you to set an alarm.

If you have your cyberq setup in infrastructure mode you can configure e-mail alerts on the cyberq- both status, low temp, high temp and cook done alerts through the alert tab & set them up to come to your phone (e-mail or text) or some sort of notification service (pushover) on your ipad.
