Made an impulse buy this am going to buy some painters tape and plastic for a day of painting, and stumbled across a mini max floor model for 399 had no intentions of buying one, especially with the mixed reviews but at 399 I thought I could try it and sell it if I don't like it. First is that a good deal and second what do most people cook on it. There is just two of us. I currently have a large.

Perfect pair for your large. It will be great when just cooking for the two of you.Charlotte, NC - Large BGE 2014, Maverick ET 733, Thermopen, Nest, Platesetter, Woo2 and Extender w/Grid, Kick Ash Basket, Pizza Stone, SS Smokeware Cap, Blackstone 36"

A cast iron grate is great. I use mine pretty often. You will enjoy it

Good find - cook some steaks! I've found I use my KJ Jr. more than my Large for daily cooks.
PS - sharp looking kitchen! -

You stole that. Those go for $600 around here. The mini is usually more than what you paid.

What a steal. $649 at my shop. The first thing I would do is make sure you have the new handles. There are a few threads on here that I'm sure someone will post for you to show you how to tell if you have the new handles or the old. The old handles can't support the weight of the MM when carrying it. BGE will replace them free if they are the old versionKeepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

Thanks all I will break it in tomorrow. Not good at posting cooks but I will try to post the inaugural cook.

They're essentially double what you paid in Canada. Even that didn't stop me. Absolutely love mine.

Great find on that and it appears the handles are indeed the updated version. Enjoy.
