Fellows as you all are well aware, @nolaegghead has dropped off of the map since the Trump Express steam rolled Crooked Hillary in a landslide, blowout victory. The pain has been more than he can bare. With that said, I assure you that the hippy is fine, just ashamed to show up and face the music for now.
Lberal or not, he is still my friend. And I miss his presence here. As such, here is my tribute to him and the good times that we have had together. I miss you brother.
A young, clean cut, conservative Nola in 1983:

The gun loving liberal ;)

The hippy drinking and driving =)

The hippy trying to keep up with me eating oysters. It wasn't even close.

The hippy on one of the Big Units.

The hippy at play.

The hippy "resting"  ;)

Last but certainly not least, the hippy just being a hippy ;)

Come on back brother, we miss you.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

maybe this will help nola like the flag again =)

Two women pose in American flag bikinis in the snow as they show their support for Trump and the Republican party

In one photo on the BabesForTrump Twitter page two women flashed their bums in tiny striped swimsuits while waving American flags

One woman has Make America Great Again written on her behind as she poses for a photo on the BabesForTrump Twitter page

I gotta admit that I was fully prepared for the other option on November 8th. I was a precinct worker that day and the number of first-time voters as well as those who had not voted in several years, was impressive.  There was no way that I was gonna let that ----- ruin any more of my life than she legally could.
I'm not sure how extensive the Five Stages of Grief are for @nolaegghead but at some point you finally get to the end of the process.  FWIW-

Some of y'all need to seek therapy. And I'm not talking about Nola.
Brother Carolina, I can say this whole heartedly, I honestly would have had to seek therapy if Crooked Clinton would have won. Either that or suicide.

Well I would hope that someone leaving a forum like this over politics is more of a joke than actual reality. To bail on a group of people due to political views, when the main purpose of the forum is for BGE cooking, only backs why the Buffalo deletes those threads.

If not returning is based on eating crow, then that's nothing more than either a poor loser, or said things that one shouldn't have said, which is all solved with a simple apology.

I never got into all those political threads, but I can say, in the short time I have been around, @nolaegghead either helped me or made me laugh my ass off at some point or another, so just suck it up man and get back.
Just bought an Egg?  Here is what you get to look forward to now:

Plate Setter, FlameBoss 200, Spider, PSWOO-CI, Additional Rig Shelf for dome cooking, Thermapen, iGrill2, Cast Iron, Blackstone, Cooking Accessories for the Blackstone, Cover for the Egg and the Blackstone, shopping for Rub like a fine wine or IPA, and a new fascination with lump and what brand is the best-all to be debated every Friday Night.  Next desires-Joetisceriie, Adjustable Rig, Grillmates, table and more eggs

You don't say?  I wonder if anyone suffering from paranoid delusions heard the call:

Or is that just another manifestation of narcissistic personality disorder?

Not sure it matters.  As Hillary would say, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?!?!?

Forgive me for bringing up politics in a quasi political thread, but if you like having fun with telemarketers, when they asked you if you pressed 1 to hear about whatever crap they are selling, telling them "no, I pressed 1 because I am so upset about Trump winning I need someone to talk to." Their response is usually pretty funny.

Like a baby deer, you have to be gentle to lure them in.
