Great weekend in the South Carolina Lowcountry.....

Spent the weekend in Colleton County along Store Creek just outside of Edisto. 
Extremely high tide in the brackish waters due to the moon position and coastal swells from the hurricane rain in the upstate. There remains a lot of evidence of Hurricane Matthew in the area. Many snakes still running.....nothing like a large rattler to get you attention / adrenaline running. 
For all you grits lovers, we consumed and purchased some Geechie Boy Grits. Most South Carolinian's (and many southerners) will tell you they are the absolute best.
One local bit of humor.......
Of course they don't sell a single bait. Good to see the "S" is not inverted in typical SC form.
I hope you all had a great weekend as well.

We did in a way. We had breakfast burritos on Saturday. Spent most of the day snacking and burning a huge pile of hurricane debrie. Just some wings for dinner and then the crescendo of breakfast at Seacow at Edisto Beach. Had a couple killer country ham biscuits, grits and a couple sunny side up eggs.
