Just purchased a pizza stone. Question is should I season prior to using? If yes whats the recommended procedure? TIA

NO! Do not season it. A ceramic baking stone should never have any oil or cleaning agents or anything applied to it. It should remain porous and is ready to go right off the bat. Enjoy!!![p]TNW

if you mean to season it with some type of oil or something, then NO .. ..just sprinkle some corn meal on it when you use it to keep your bread/pizza/etc. from sticking....but you can just use it straight out of the box. ..
