All are invited. It is free but we do take donations to cover costs.

Oct 22nd, Saturday. All day long.

We have 3 bands playing from around noon to 6PM.

600 Elmira in Old Algiers Point, 70114 (old, small and dilapidated bar with a horrific history!!!)

We have a sponsor - Snake River Farms, who generously supplied a couple of wagyu (similar to Japanese Kobe beef) briskets and some other food.

Thursday night around 6PM we're doing a trawler cruise from NOLA Yacht club to The Marina at Pontchartrain Landing for dinner, drinks and Thu night football. Space is limited. PM Me.

Brisket Camp is at a dilapidated old bar. The booze cruse is to a nice new restaurant bar with a big dock on the water. Good thing, compared to last year, we have electricity.

I know it won't measure up to @SGH's balls, or the Wagyu brisket from @SRFShane, but I will be bringing a Berkshire belly, a couple of Berkshire loin roasts, and as much Berkshire bacon as I can sneak out of the house past the wife. Someone other than me will have to decide how to prepare and cook the belly and the loins.

I'll have to take your word for it, as I've never had lamb fries, Rocky Mountain oysters, or whatever you want to call them. I'm sure that with enough liquid courage I will eventually try them.

I was thinking the Habanero Pineapple glaze available at Costco might make a good glaze for the pork loin, but like I said, someone else will make the call on how to prepare it.

Y'all, we have plenty of shuttle volunteers and vehicles at our disposal. This is a group effort and as a group we will prioritize shuttle service and use uber as a last resort.

That said, maybe before last resort is to don a helmet and ride on the back of a motorcycle. If this won't work out, then uber. But only then.

I will have the Aprilia, Harley and BMW GS available to any who want two wheels over four. A motorcycle endorsement with current major insurance is all you need. And my evaluation of ability, which is prudent and under the advice of the brisket camp legal team, Ariel and Dylan.

In other words, not so crazy people. And all is good.

I'm driving out front tampa early Friday morning. I have a motorcycle endorsement on my license. Had a 2002 RoadKing for many years, but I just want to ride Nola's cargo bike.
