It is amazing how people bring hope and love to others through food. I would bet at the heart of it most of us here can relate or try to with what you do with your families or communities. It is stories like this that keep us humble. I know I'm not in this guys class of giving back. I know of at least one real life superhero that is an active member of this forum. He is too "grim" to admit it though.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.

Great story and it's repeated all over the US every day. For 21 years I served on the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army and it amazed me the number of dedicated officers who serve mankind from the hopeless and homeless to those trying to better themselves. If you ever need a charity to believe in that maximizes your donation's dollars then The Salvation Army is it. BTW a little known fact - Red Kettle donations at Christmas season accounted for less than 10% of our revenue - the real money comes from contributors who dig deeper than their pocket change.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.
